  • 2 tbsp olive oil

For the Filling:

  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup finely chopped onion

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (plain or seasoned)

  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened

  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

  • 1 tsp dried thyme

  • 1/2 tsp paprika

  • Salt and pepper to taste

For Garnish (Optional):

  • Extra grated Parmesan cheese

  • Chopped fresh parsley

How to Make Easy Stuffed Mushrooms

Step 1: Preheat the Oven

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or lightly grease it with olive oil.

Step 2: Prepare the Mushrooms

  1. Clean the mushrooms with a damp paper towel or brush to remove any dirt.

  2. Remove the stems from the mushrooms and finely chop them. Set aside.

  3. Place the mushroom caps on the prepared baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.

Step 3: Make the Filling

  1. In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.

  2. Add the chopped mushroom stems and onion. Sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.

  3. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  4. Remove from heat and transfer the mixture to a mixing bowl.

  5. Add breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, cream cheese, parsley, thyme, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
