Ingredients
For the Shrimp Scampi:

1 lb large shrimp, peeled & deveined (tails on or off)

4 tbsp unsalted butter

2 tbsp olive oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

½ cup dry white wine (like Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio)

1 lemon (zest + 2 tbsp juice)

¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)

Salt & black pepper to taste

¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
For Serving (Optional):

8 oz linguine or spaghetti (cooked al dente)

Instructions
Step 1: Prep the Shrimp

Pat shrimp dry with paper towels.

Season lightly with salt & pepper.
Step 2: Sauté Garlic in Butter & Oil

Heat a large skillet over medium heat.

Add butter & olive oil—let butter melt but not brown.

Add garlic & red pepper flakes, sauté 30 sec until fragrant (don’t burn!).
Step 3: Cook the Shrimp
